I WANT TO VOLUNTEER!
Why volunteer?
Charities and organisations throughout the Cotswolds and the
locality need your interests and skills for the benefit of their users.
What do I have to gain from volunteering?
The chance to meet new people, make a difference, share experiences
and gain new skills - or even just to do something different. Volunteering
helps to expand your horizons, you can test the possibility of new careers,
add something to your CV and enjoy your spare time.
What can I do?
Anything and everything! Clear footpaths, listening and befriending,
administration work, working with animals, accountancy, driving, marketing
and PR, web design, social care, gardening, furniture recycling, make cakes,
youth activities, fundraising, governance + much more!
The possibilities are endless...
Our team can help you find a volunteer placement. We have over 400
non-profit organisations on our database, some providing local services, others
operating across the county - they all need volunteers to help them provide
their services!
Volunteering in the Cotswolds can offer you the chance
to put your skills to use, develop new skills, meet new people or simply keep
you occupied for a few hours a week.
PLEASE NOTE: Cotswold Community Transport are currently desperately seeking additional escorts for their award winning Dial-a-Ride service in Cirencester!

So, what happens next?
Having completed our registration process this gives us the
information we need to match you up with a volunteering opportunity
that will interest you.
While we have some opportunities at the Volunteer Centre itself our main
job is to act as a broker for other organisations and provide you with
information about the sort of roles they have available and the type of
people they are looking for.
One we have processed your registration we will invite you in for a chat and
discuss the range of opportunities that are open to you.
